Review of etrailer Trailer Locks - Coupler Locks - E98884- Video
Today, I'm going to take a look at the etrailer.com trailer coupler lock with the half inch span. Now this part will include the lock and the two keys, and this coupler lock is designed for your trigger style locks that have the quarter inch diameter hole. I happen to pull one of those just so we can show you what it looks like, and then we're going to do a demonstration on how the lock works.But here's your trigger style latch on the coupler, and the hole is right here, that's a quarter inch diameter hole. Again, we'll show it in a minute how the lock goes on there. This lock will help prevent the coupler from releasing from your hitch ball while the trailer's in tow, and it'll also help prevent someone from just attaching to an unattended trailer and towing it away.The pin diameter, which is the portion right here that goes through the hole in the coupler, that is quarter of an inch diameter. The inside span width, it's going to be right at a half an inch. more

Today we'll be taking a look at the Master Lock heavy duty coupler and latch lock combo. This is going to fit a wide variety of couplers for your trailers, including a one and seven-eighths inch, a two inch, and a two and five-sixteenth inch coupler. This can also work with UFP and some of those again, one and seven-eighths coupler. You might need to use the included adapter that I have here, in my hand. This just slides into the top and then it comes through the front of the lock. That's to take up some of the gap there, on the inside, where that would make contact with the top of that coupler. more

It's really nice design, very easy to use, the lock housing rotates 360 degrees for easy access. The shackle and this portion right here is constructed of a steel construction with a chrome plating. It's going to do a great job at resisting rusting and corrosion, it's a very strong durable design. Right here on the lock body, we're going to have a sliding plastic cap that covers the key slot to prevent corrosion in the lock mechanism. more

This stainless steel padlock secures your trailer's cover latch so it can't be stolen or removed from your tow vehicle. It features a heat-treated heavy-duty reinforced shackle that's going to be stronger than your traditional pin. It's bump proof and resistant to picking and the hardened washers prevent drilling into the lock core and it comes with two keys. The whole lock measures 4 5/8 of an inch long, an inch and 5/8 wide. The shackle span is 2 1/4 inches. more

And would be thieves can't secure your unhitched trailer to their tow vehicle with this installed. You can see right here this is a little bit different than some traditional padlocks. We're going to have to reinforced shackle, this is going to be much stronger than a traditional shackle or traditional pin. Now inside the lock body we're going to have a rotating disk tumbler lock, that's going to provide maximum security. You're going to get two notched keys with this part number. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at part number AT89013, this is the Atwood AMPLock Trailer Coupler Latch Lock, padlock style. The coupler lock is going to secure the trigger latch on your trailer's coupler or brake actuator to help deter and prevent theft. The trailer cannot be removed from your tow vehicle when locked onto the ball, so once you have it connected you can install this and that's going to ensure that nobody comes up and disconnects your trailer from your hitch ball and moves it to their setup. It's also going to add as a safety mechanism, that way it's going to work as a prevention from accidental disconnection. You can also place this on your unattended trailer, that way would-be thieves can't secure your unhitched trailer to their towed vehicle. Now, this does look a little bit different when compared to your normal padlock, that's because over here this really thick piece, this is going to be our reinforced shackle. It's stronger. more

It's going to offer us a large width here of five inches, and it's designed for use of couplers with a lip of under 1/2-inch deep. These AMPlocks really offer the maximum in security when it comes to keeping your trailer where you want it, and preventing any kind of uninvited hookups. Atwood AMPlock Trailer Couper Lock Review AT89005- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the Atwood AMPlock Trailer Coupler Lock. This is designed for 2" or 2-5/16" couplers. The part number is AT89005. This could be used for anything up to 4-11/16" wide and 3/4" tall. While it's geared toward more of the flap lip style as we have here, it's also going to work with some of the rolled lip styles. Atwood AMPlock Trailer Coupler Lock Review- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the Atwood AmpLock Trailer Coupler Lock. This is the one designed for the 2 and 5/16 inch flat lift couplers, as you see here. Its part number is AT 89004. We can go up to 4 and a half inches wide with the coupler, and a half inch in thickness. Just make sure your lip matches that, and it should be a perfect solution for you. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Atwood AMPlock Trailer Coupler Lock. This is cast iron. Part number on it is AT89003. This is designed to fit our 2" trailer couplers with the width of up to 4-3/8" and a lip thickness of 1/2" and, as you can see, you'll want that to be a semi-flat lip. These locks are going to offer you the maximum end security. They start with a rotating disk-style tumbler. You're going to have an extremely smooth operating lock that is very tamper resistant. more

Atwood AMPlock Trailer Coupler Latch Review- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the Atwood AMPlock Trailer Coupler Latch Lock, part number is AT89011. The Atwood Trailer Coupler Lock is really going to offer us the maximum in security in securing our locks. We've got a shatter proof stainless steel body, a hardened chrome plated shackle and also a fully reinforced unused portion of our shackle to prevent any types of cutters or saws getting in there and getting at our shackle. As you'll notice there, once in place, you're only going to have a very small area of exposed shackle there and that's just because this is one of the narrower style latches. If it we're just a little bit wider, it would have that filled up fully for us. The thing I really like about the coupler lock, is with it in the open position, we're not going to be able to remove that key. It's not until we fully turn it into the lock position that it's actually going to come out for us, as you can see here. The lock core itself uses rotating disks as a tumbler. more
